Jennifer Cassetta is the founder of Health and the City™, a one-stop shopping for people looking to get serious about their health. The mission of Health and the City™ is to help "urbanites" take the quality of their health and vitality to the next level. Health and the City™ is a collaboration of health and fitness related services that include personal training and group classes, nutritional counseling and seminars and martial arts training.

Jennifer is a second degree black belt instructor of HapKiDo, a Korean martial art, at World Martial Arts Center located in NYC. She is trained by the nationally recognized, top HapKiDo instructor in the country, Master David Herbert (7th Dan). Martial arts was the catalyst that led her to take on health and fitness as her mission in life.

Jennifer is also a personal trainer and is certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine. She has built a successful personal training business in NYC as well as Montauk, NY.

Graduating from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition as a certified holistic health counselor, she is accredited by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. She also gives seminars on the subject of optimizing your health through nutrition, throughout New York State.

Jennifer has been featured on TimeOut NY’s t.v. channel as well as in the magazine. She has been featured Marie Clare, Women’s Health magazine, the Wall Street Journal, the NY Post, and on NPR radio. She writes a monthly Health and the City™ Newsletter, has been published in a variety of online and print publications.

The programs that Jennifer creates include development of the mind, body and spirit. Her style of coaching incorporate the best of both Eastern and Western philosophies and her background of fitness and nutrition are the perfect mix to help her clients reach their highest potential!
